About us

Barszcz & Borszcz is a cosy restaurant of regional Polish and Ukrainian comfort food in the very heart of Warsaw's Old Town. Our menu features traditional red and Ukrainian borscht, handmade Carpathian pierogi with bryndza, cabbage rolls in creamy porcini sauce, Hutsul banosz, pork knuckle slow-roasted in beer, and wood-fired pizza — comfort food straight from the Polish and Ukrainian Carpathians.

Our pride and joy is the intimate courtyard hidden in the heart of the Old Town. It's the perfect place for dinner outdoors, with a glass of fine wine or a mug of craft beer from Polish breweries. In the evenings, the murmur of the fountain and the glow of string lights create an atmosphere you won't find anywhere else in Warsaw.
